Animals mechanics arises with the idea of mixing printing techniques in series with the new technologies, creating a type of work that already can be considered finished, but hide a virtual view of it, which we can see by using the Augmented Reality on mobile technology, allowing us to mix graphic work with 3D animation and sound. Thus giving the appearance of a doubly finished work.
We have created a series of mechanized animals, which are composed of a series of gears, fittings, motors, pipes, antennas, microphones ... and some little men and little women (depending on the animal) that are responsible for the operation thereof, because they are so complex machinery must be controlled and conducted in a rational way, so that they can carry out their vital functions. Looking at them through the mobile phone, the animals come to life, for each animal have assigned a virtual one, lively and distinctive sounds.
A sort of pet of the future, where depending on the complexity of the collaborative user involvement will be necessary, thus producing a closer relationship between the owners of these pets.
